If you are looking for a place to gather with friends and pass the time, look no further. We've brought the neighborhood bar into the twenty-first century.
Co-owners Jim and Mary Stamper are your hosts, a rarity these days of chain operated places. Jim and Mary worked for more than twenty years at the Tam O'Shanter Inn in Lakewood during which time "the Tam" became one of Lakewood’s most well-known and successful neighborhood bars. Jim may best be known for his appearances at Cleveland Indians home games with his "Muscle Wahoo" signs. (Check out the "Muscle Wahoo" painted behind our stage.) We opened November 3, 1998, although the discussions of the "ultimate neighborhood bar" between Jim and Mary Stamper and their partners, Jim and Susan Smith, originated 10 years earlier. The Smiths are still actively involved in the behind the scenes operations of the pub. The Stampers and Smiths both hope you like our idea of the "ultimate neighborhood bar".
